flaredone@comcast.net BioI'm a student at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. I live in Allston, commute as far as across Boston to Chelsea for school.
I've been awarded a scholarship to study in Japan this summer, between June and mid-August (my 21st birthday). It pays for 80% of all my costs while I pay for the other 20%, while explicitly requiring that I make:
A $200 deposit in March,
and supply airfare, ($1,000) which will be compensated for me.
I'll need to pay my rent while I'm gone, or find someone to take my room temporarily. If not, rent will be something like $1,000.
With that, I'm requesting any of my loved ones, friends, or acquaintances, if you're able to spare funds, ask me for my mail address, toss me some cash, or donate to my Paypal. I'll take all of it and put it in one place for safe-keeping, not to be touched for anything but this trip, and, if for some reason I cannot make the trip, will be reimbursed to my donors.
I hope everyone would take me as a trustworthy person. You may or may not know it, but I've lent to many of my friends when I worked a $7.50 wage job in FL with no expenses of my own. To this very day I have people who owe me in excess of $800. Please keep in mind, it's not just money that I need, but perhaps help in finding a room-mate, or someone to purchase my airfare to and from Japan, which is supposedly around $1,000, which BHCC will reimburse to you. Whatever, or however you can help, I'll appreciate it.
Anyone may request items, photographs, or other paraphernalia is strongly encouraged to make requests, anytime from now up until during my trip. I would like to get anyone things they want from Japan.
This will be the trip of my lifetime. It's even my first time leaving the country! :>
